Luke Haines on the murder of Sir Sutton

A very strange story...

Special note: this piece references the murder of Sir Richard Sutton. That event should not be confused with the murder...apparently a terrorist act...of the popular Conservative MP Sir David Amess. That was another crime entirely.

If you keep up with trans-Atlantic news, or if you’re on the UK-side of the water, then you will have already seen that Sir Richard Sutton, a wealthy businessman, was recently stabbed to death, reportedly by the son of the woman who was Sutton’s domestic partner. As of press time, details of the killing were extremely murky.

Our friend Luke Haines is British and has a regular blog, the Haines Report, in which he considers news events from his unique perspective. Be sure to check out Luke’s view of the murder of Sutton. He notes that the man, technically a Baronet, was one of the richest individuals in Britain. His death, then, may be an extraordinarily complicated event.
