Youtube Shuts Down Anti-Vaxxers

Our "Friend," the virus...

Coming under the heading of “And about God d*mn time” Youtube is shutting down anti-vaccine advocates. According to an recent article in the Washington Post, the video company “is taking down several video channels associated with high-profile anti-vaccine activists including Joseph Mercola and Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who experts say are partially responsible for helping seed the skepticism that’s contributed to slowing vaccination rates across the country.”(1)

In a word, Thank Heavens!

Oh, and if you’re under the mistaken belief that there’s a free speech issue here, about the same time this was going on, Youtube banned two German-language channels for promoting Covid-misinformation. The kicker? Both were supported by Russia, who, in fact, has said it will “punish” Youtube and Google (Youtube’s parent company) for taking the channels off line.(2)

So, boys and girls, what do we learn from this? That Russia, which has no love for us, and would like spread division and disease among us, is doing its level best to support anti-vaxxers. Meaning that the anti-vaccine movement should be regarded with a lot of suspicion.

And maybe, just maybe, with a little pure terror.
